Mexican state-owned oil company Pemex expects crude processing rates at its six domestic refineries will exceed 1 million b/d by the end of 2023, a company official said Wednesday in a call to discuss first-quarter financial results.
Reinaldo Wences, deputy director of regulatory compliance at Pemex's industrial transformation unit TRI, said the company has set a target of processing around 1.2 million b/d of crude, or "even more," by the end of the year.
