Honey has so many people captivated.
It really doesn't matter what the species may be, whether it's human, dog, bird, or anything in between. Moms are universally proud of their babies, and their protective instinct kicks in even before they arrive. This is made even more evident by one precious love bird who couldn't be prouder of her new eggs.
The sweet pet bird, named Honey, has been delighting fans on TikTok for quite some time now, through her account, @honeyandflora. In this recent video shared by her human mom, we see Honey proudly showing off three "eggies." And even though the eggs are not fertile and will never hatch, mom still acknowledges Honey's pride over her little creations. Just wait until you hear her cute little chirps.

Could she possibly be any sweeter? It's almost as if she was saying, "Hey mom, look what I did!" Aww. Bless her heart. It's a little sad to think that she might not realize that she doesn't have babies about to hatch.
Needless to say, people who viewed the clip are equally as captivated with Honey. Viewer @Demona Cabbit said, "There's just something so wholesome about a bird sitting on her eggs." Aww. There really is!
Another TikTok creator, @kellyrobinson771 added, "The way she relaxed after hearing you say you weren't going to take them? Ohhh. Try to tell me they're not super smart!" Yes, Honey is a smart cookie, indeed!
And yet another fan of the clip, @lovealexlucerto noted, "The sound she makes is so cute." Most people would likely agree they could listen to it all day!
Honey's mom further explained how she knows the eggs are not fertile in a follow-up video.

As she said, eventually, Honey just gets tired of the eggs and moves on. In the comments, she added, "She actually wakes up one day and acts like the eggs aren’t there. If I take them out before that she just lays more. The hormones gotta work."
(Guess nobody can quite outsmart Mother Nature.)
