DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Showers will be possible at any time through the day Monday, as a stretch of rainy conditions will stick around through the early part of the week, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Austin Chaney.

Highs will reach the upper 70s this afternoon with some breezy conditions at times.

Showers and an isolated storm will be possible through the day, but could become a bit more scattered and less widespread by the evening.

TUESDAY: Cloudy skies with scattered showers/storms likely. High temperatures topping out in the upper 70s. Rain overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday could be heavy at times. Breezy again with gusts as high as 20MPH

Cool Down Ahead

WEDNESDAY: Unsettled weather continues. Cloudy skies with showers and storms are possible. Some of the rain Wednesday could be heavy. Rain chances diminish toward the evening/overnight hours. Wind Gusts up to 30 MPH by Wednesday afternoon and evening. High temperatures on Wednesday will be noticeably cooler, in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY: Drying trend expected on Thursday. A shower can’t be ruled out early, dry for the afternoon. Variably cloudy with high temperatures struggling to warm. Expect afternoon temperatures only in the lower 60s.

Rainfall Forecast

FRIDAY: Partly/Mostly sunny and not as cool as Thursday. Highs in the lower 70s which is below average for this time of year.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies are expected to start off the weekend. A few showers are possible, especially during the afternoon but not a washout. High temperatures in the lower 70s.

SUNDAY: Partly/mostly sunny, staying dry and pleasant with temperatures again in the lower 70s.
