TOLEDO -- Jackson-based Alro Steel has completed a warehouse expansion project at its Toledo, Ohio facility.
The expansion of its facility at 3003 Airport Highway in Toledo increased the building to 123,000 square feet, according to a company news release. The project doubled the storage capacity for sheet product inventory, added more metal processing capabilities, increased storage for plates and long products and remodeled office space.
Expansion efforts at Alro facilities are focused on increasing abilities for next-day processing and fast delivery within the state, company officials said.
The project follows another Midwest facility’s expansion. In November, Alro officials completed renovations and warehouse expansion on a historic building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
