The Disney Parks are currently closed until further notice. Many fans remain hopeful that their summer vacations will still be possible, while others wonder, is it okay to plan a Disney trip even though the parks are closed? The answer is yes! Scheduling a Trip Even Though the Parks are Closed
At this time, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are closed until further notice, and we don’t yet know when they will reopen. You can read all about what we know for sure in our post here.
We do know, however, that reservations for new trips can be made from June 1 onward. Even though an exact reopening date has not yet been given for Disney World or Disneyland theme parks, hopeful travelers and upcoming guests are able to schedule their vacations — as well as (when the time comes) dining reservations and FastPass+ bookings — from June 1, 2020 and beyond.
Just because the parks aren’t open currently doesn’t mean you can’t still purchase your tickets for this fall’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom or Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure. And you can certainly still try to snag that dinner reservation for Blue Bayou at Disneyland or ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — as long as you plan to arrive on June 1 or later!
